Spiritual communities are complex systems with many interactive parts, making evaluation both important and challenging. Sometimes ministries attempt to adapt corporate performance-review models to a spiritual setting. Other times, they avoid reviews altogether. Neither of these choices serve to unleash the ministry’s potential.

But what if we looked into the mirror of truth and saw something more? What if viewed spiritual community as an organic system which nurtures the expression of the Divine in one another – and in the community as a whole? Coming from this perspective, a review process becomes an opportunity for communal reflection on the inherent wholeness, dignity, and divine potential within every person and within the community itself.

Grace in the Mirror is an interactive webinar designed for spiritual leaders, board members, and congregations who want to align organizational practices with spiritual principles. The webinar introduces a co-creative model of review that moves beyond traditional performance evaluation toward meaningful reflection, authentic dialogue, mutual accountability, and shared growth.

Through conversation and practical exploration, participants will discover how a review can become more than an assessment of what is working or what needs to change. It can become a sacred practice—a space for listening deeply, recognizing gifts, naming opportunities, and discerning together how the community is being called to grow.

Together, we will shift our awareness from “performance evaluation” to “sacred alignment,” creating a culture where feedback is welcomed as a gift, conversations deepen trust, and reflection becomes a pathway to greater consciousness and collective empowerment.
