- ‘u kwun’a wulh hith – a long time ago – People in all four directions have creation stories, an origin, and a way of living within the environment they call home. Let us focus our lens on a people that have lived on the largest island on the west coast of North America, their stories, their history, and how they grew up in harmony with their surroundings. What was life like living on an island prior to contact? How different was the environment compared to today? Who are the original inhabitants? We will delve into this dialogue and dig a bit deeper to enhance our awareness of those that called Vancouver island home.

- Life after contact – how have things changed? What is today’s world like for these peoples? How have they faired thus far, after contact?
